Julian Cerruti

A deep connection across time.

Julian Cerruti is an amazing guy. We met because of work, because I was working for Cerruti and Julian is the son. Immediately something clicked and we became friends. He came to exhibit his work in my gallery and I love his vision of life. He's very much into criticizing the world and looking at it with fresh eyes. The hand with the little silhouette in the middle and a red dragon eating the hand. The little silhouette represents almost his life. He's a very sensible person and sensitive person. It's strange because I had not talked to Julian in 10 years. But he was still in my mind and I called him when the project of Knott So Mad took form. He was amazing. He was like “yes, of course” immediately. He said something, I felt the same, it felt okay. It was easy to connect 10 years ago and it’s still the same way, easy to connect. I think that's my way of being with people. I connect or I disconnect.
