Ingrid Plater-Syberg

Water, reflection & artistic sensibility.

Ingrid Plater-Syberg is a photographer. She works on water, reflection of water. She says that she's not an artist. She says that it's nature that is making the art. I believe she's very much an artist. I love her sensibility into looking at other things, but I also love the way she helps me in making this project happen. Ingrid is someone I've known for 35 years, maybe more. We were babies or kids at Saint Laurent in the 90s. We ended up both of us here in Brussels and really became friends and collaborated. In 2020 during Covid suddenly we became much closer and she has become someone that I trust very, very much in her ability to understand the world.
