Danny Venlet is a designer, object designer, I think fashion and furniture and lifestyle is a whole group of things. It cannot be separated. I really like his work, his work on shapes. His furniture feels a little bit like fabric floating somehow for me. Everything is floating. We were neighbors nearly for a long time, so we always met in the street but never really talked. And then once we started talking, we became friends. I knew his work, but I didn't know his face, and, by chance, it happened this way.
